Bridgend & District Golf Club is still a relatively new Parkland Course located in the North of West Lothian, just 2.5 miles outside the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow.
The Club was formed in 1994 and was built mainly by the kind voluntary work of some local Bridgend people on land which was formerly used for shale mining works.
The Haughburn Course which we enjoy today officially opened in April 1999.
The course is a good test of your all round game, not to tiring although buggy hire is available if required. The course has fantastic views over the Forth Valley to the Ochil Hills.
After your round you can enjoy refreshments and choose from a varied menu provided by Ranch catering in the surrondings of the John Bertram lounge or aternatively you may just enjoy yourself in the friendly surroundings of the clubhouse bar playing a game of pool or darts or even just kick back and watch the professionals on the T.V.
Some of the main founder members who selflessly gave up their time and more to complete the building of the Haughburn Course.
